I'll risk a saying that this is THE BEST place to stay at the island and I take all the responsibility for that!
We arrived at the Hostel in the middle of the pandemic and the very professional and extremely nice stuff treated as with their best services, making us feel like a royal couple ❤️ they were very flexible and thoughtful with us and made our stay excellent. They have a fully equipped kitchen where we were able to cook our meals and hang out.
Trust me, there is no need to look somewhere else, Hi Hostel should be your only choice! Highly recommended ?❤️?

I arrived after a rough ferry-ride in Heimæy and the warm and friendly welcome was exactly what I needed to feel at home. I booked a bunk in the female-dorm and I got a twin-room, which was a lovely surprise after weeks in crowded dorms. The great staff informed me about weather, museums and sights. On my departure-day they even called the ferry-company for operational news and let me stay in my room till the departure-time.|The kitchen is very clean and well equipped, the bathrooms are good.|I hope to come back one day....but in summer ?

Since the islands are usually seen as a day trip, the hostel was not busy at all. I think there was only 2-3 other guests in the building that night, and I had the 6 bed dorm to my self. ||||Check in is at the hotel next door, so once you check in you're basically on your own, (the hostel itself is un-manned) ||||The bathroom was across the hallway from me. There was one bathroom that was out of order, but since there were so few people in the hostel, it wasn't a problem. ||||Bed was comfortable, and the hostel was very quiet. Nice and convenient for getting around the small town. ||||Highly recommend staying a night!

Fantastic hostel, we stayed in a private room. Charming, central, updated, private, secure. We loved every minute and will be back.Fabulous location to see the northern lights! Highly recommend to anyone!

La guesthouse (précédemment auberge de jeunesse apparemment) fait partie de l'hôtel Vestamannaeyjar, il faut donc se présenter à l'accueil de l'hôtel.||Le personnel de l'hôtel était très sympathique et serviable (nous avons pu nous installer avant l'heure officielle de check-in car la chambre était prête; et à notre départ nous avons pu profiter de la cuisine après l'heure officielle de check-out).||La cuisine partagée est suffisamment équipée, et il y a même une machine à laver.||Nous avons eu une chambre petite (et sans rangement), mais elle était propre et claire. C'est tout à fait suffisant pour une nuit.||Le wi-fi fonctionne bien.||Il y a deux salles de bain partagées pour potentiellement 25 personnes si la guesthouse est complète (7 chambres): une salle de bain avec les toilettes à l'intérieur, et une salle de bain sans toilettes (+ des toilettes indépendantes).||Seul point négatif: un groupe d'occupants est rentré tard, en faisant beaucoup de bruit.

Accueil excellent ! La réceptionniste nous a proposé de passer un coup de fil pour nous faire ouvrir le sea museum aquarium juste pour nous. Adorable !
