A wonderful, charming place! Cute, well-located and tidy cottages, comfortable beds, awesome breakfast. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Their bread baked in the ground tastes fantastic. Had a great night sleep at this property. Overall we found it a little pricey for the amenities: very small bathroom, paper-thin walls, slow Internet.

We stayed 2 nights here on our trip to Iceland. Beautiful and interesting area to stay in. The room was very clean, comfortable, well-lit, and quiet. This was a good location to be able to drive around the area to sightsee. Please be aware that there are small gnats/midges constantly around. They don't bite, just annoying. Consider getting a net that goes over your head for the trip if you plan on spending time outside anywhere for any length of time around Myvatn. This guesthouse came highly recommended by friends and we are so glad we stayed there!

Glorious stay at this fabulous guesthouse on a farm with restaurant attached. |The guesthouse rooms are located on the other side of the road, and are cabin style, good size room and well maintained. A very cosy stay for 2 nights when it was cold and windy outside. |The reception/bar/restaurant area on the other side of the road is excellent. Good quality art/craft type products available. |The 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts were excellent. And an utter delight to see the cow shed whilst within the restaurant. Quite unique. |The surrounding views are wonderful. |

Nice and quiet accomodation, off the road at Myvatn area. Note that the rooms / cabins are opposite the main road and not the reception is at the other end. The rooms are designed as wooden cabins and the beds are comfortable. You will find packets of coffee and tea in the room. The bathroom is small but practical with water heater. The water pressure however is slightly lower as compared to other hotels.

Beds are comfortable and cozy.

You will need to cross the road for the breakfast. Beautiful view on the stables and cows.

Nice hotel with a wood room quite big - but not the bathroom quite small- very clean - very good bed - quiet area|very good restaurant with local food- great cheese- |the staff is very kind- we have asked to have a packed breafast because of an early departure- and the breasfast was very good|

Stayed here for 3 nights. Lovely people running the hotel and restaurant. Excellent breakfast. Rooms were quite basic but clean and functional. Disappointing shower...low pressure...but then I don't like rain showers or shower curtains.
Dinner in the restaurant was superb. Note you do need to book

I would consider this “glamping” and therefore by nature overpriced. The check-in building and restaurant is across the street from the motel-style block of rooms, so google maps is a bit misleading. The rooms have tall ceilings, all wood walls and ceilings. The bathroom is tiny, the shower had rust stains in the bottom corner and the bathroom vent was blocked with so much dust. The beds were firm. No wifi in the rooms, no tv installed (although it looks like there is a plug for a tv, someday?). Breakfast was included and was a decent spread. Lots of cheese options, if that’s your thing. I wouldn’t stay here again or personally recommend it, but it was a perfect location for our itinerary and worked well enough.

Room felt more like a lodge than a B&B or hotel. Perhaps is what they’re going for but seemed just a bit less welcoming/comfortable than other places we stayed. Rooms are also a 3-5 minute walk across the main road from reception and the restaurant, which was a bit annoying in very cold and snowy weather as we, along with nearly all others, ended up finding it better to just drive back and forth.||Otherwise, all the essentials worked fine and the breakfast was pretty nice. The ability to visit and pet the cows was unique and appreciated - though i didn’t realize how much their smell can get into your clothes so now have 1 of my only 2 pairs of pants in quarantine till I find a washing machine :).
